Mom’s Christmas Gift

Glowing Love of Jesus

The painting looks much better in person than in the online photos. It reminds me of Jesus' love and healing as well as His forgiveness in my daily relationship with Him. There is nothing better than knowing Jesus.

This painting symbolizes for me one of the most beautiful parts of the Chosen. Mary meets Jesus for the first time. She is ashamed of her life, but Jesus says to her “Mary, fear not, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name. You are mine.” Mary collapses in to Jesus arms, sobbing in thankfulness. Jesus hugs her and comforts her. This moment is captured so beautifully in this painting. I get goosebumps every time I look at it. These words first come up in the old testament in Isaiah, Chapter 43, Verse 1.
